9-Day Kruger Park History Safari South Africa
There was a time when the Kruger Park was visited for the excitement of the wildlife viewing but in the past few years, discoveries of great kingdoms and ancient settlements have ensured that the Kruger landscape has become one of the foremost historical and cultural regions in Africa. For some visitors to Kruger, the heartbeat of an ancient past could be felt in their souls and in particular in the northern reaches of the park where the landscape is dominated by baobabs, valleys and hills.
Depart Pretoria/Johannesburg/ORT International. Travel by road in air-conditioned minibus to the Northern Province of Limpopo. En route, there will be two stops for leg stretch and refreshments. Arrive at the destination late afternoon. After dinner retire and relax.

The Northern part of Kruger is also the place to look for the rare animals of the Park, however one should not lose sight of the fact that the “The Big Five” is always present in Kruger.
