Pilanesberg National Park & Game Reserve

Pilansberg National Park lies in the remains of an extinct volcanic crater and is approximately 1.3 billion years old.  This specific Geological feature is known as an alkaline ring complex and is unique in Africa. This reserve is home to the Big Five (Lion, Leopard, Buffalo, Rhino and Elephant), and offers more than 365 bird species.  This malaria-free 58 000 hectare park is the fourth largest Park in South Africa. Not only is Pilanesberg one of the most scenic parks, but offer a variety of  Wildlife that is hard to match.  

Rietvlei Nature Reserve

Just outside the capital of South Africa, lies the Rietvlei Nature Reserve, a sanctuary for over a thousand creatures. This small-group tour, limited to 8 travellers, takes you on a game drive in a closed, air-conditioned vehicle through the reserve where you can spot animals such as cheetah, buffalo, zebras, hippo, and rhinos. 

Dinokeng Game Reserve

Just outside the capital of South Africa, lies the Rietvlei Nature Reserve, a sanctuary for over a thousand creatures. This small-group tour, limited to 8 travellers, takes you on a game drive in a closed, air-conditioned vehicle through the reserve where you can spot animals such as cheetah, buffalo, zebras, hippo, and rhinos. 

Rhino & Lion Park 

This Nature Reserve offers many different species and makes for exciting viewing.  It is close to Johannesburg and ideal for travellers who want to experience the Wild but does not have the luxury of time. Covering approximately 1 200 ha on the typical Highveld of Gauteng. The reserve is situated in the "Cradle of Humankind", a declared World Heritage Site.

From a modest beginning of two white rhinos, "Ouvrou" and "Bulle", imported from a zoo in Germany, and some antelope species, the reserve now boasts 600 head of game representing 25 different species. Public demand to visit the reserve became overwhelming and this was met in 1990, coinciding with a name change from "Kiepersol" to "Rhino Park".
