10 Day Kruger/KwaZulu Natal & Swaziland-Lifetime Memories

Hluhluwe/Umfolozi Game Reserve hosts an impressive variety of wildlife. iSimangaliso Wetland Park with large pods of breeding hippos and Nile crocodiles. Lake St Lucia World Heritage Site, rich in biodiversity, with its great scenic beauty and stunning coastline, conserving whales, dolphins and tortoises.

Day 1:

Arrive at Oliver Tambo International Airport, Meet and greet and transfer to Guest House in Johannesburg or Pretoria. Dinner, Bed, Breakfast

Day 2:

Travel to Kwa-Zulu Natal Province. (Lunch can be enjoyed in Van Reenen’s Pass). We book in for our overnight stay at a lodge. You have an afternoon of leisure admiring the Drakensberg and its beauty. Dinner, Bed & Breakfast.

Day 3:

After breakfast depart and travel up the east coast to the town of St Lucia. Travel past some of the largest fever tree forests in South Africa. (Lunch can be enjoyed in one of the towns that we pass through). Reach the estuary in the afternoon. After booking in, leave for a late afternoon cruise on the riverboat in the iSimangaliso Wetland Park spotting Hippos and Crocodiles and enjoying the beautiful sunset along Mangrove swamps. Dinner, Bed & Breakfast.  


Day 4:

After breakfast you will be picked-up for your whale and dolphin watching excursion on a ski boat. Depart the Estuary and head for Hluhluwe Game Reserve. Enter the reserve and head for Hilltop Camp - destination for two nights. Do game viewing en route to the camp. Book in and relax on a look out deck before the late afternoon game drive in open safari vehicles. Dinner will be at the camp restaurant. Dinner. Bed & Breakfast


Day 5:

Early morning game drive in open safari vehicle, return for breakfast. Afternoon game drive with minibus. Dinner will be at the camp restaurant.

Dinner. Bed & Breakfast. (Optional extra night game drive in open safari vehicle).


Day 6:

After breakfast depart for Milwane Wildlife Sanctuary. Overnight stop in the Kingdom of Swaziland. On route visit the popular candle factory and lunch (own account). Reach destination in the afternoon. Book in you - do a walk in the sanctuary between the free roaming animals. Dinner will be served in the boma. Dinner. Bed & Breakfast.


Day 7:

After breakfast depart for Kruger National Park, the pride of South Africa’s National Parks. En route visit the famous Ngwenya glass factory. Enter the park at Malelane gate. Travel through the park enjoying sighting wild animals the Park has to offer. Reach camp in the afternoon.
Dinner will be at the camp restaurant. Dinner, Bed & Breakfast.


Day 8:

After breakfast depart to the more central parts of Kruger. Seeking the “Big Five” always in mind. Stop for a leg stretch & lunch on route at one of the rest camps (lunch own account). Travel through the Acacia bushveld and reach the new camp in the afternoon. View the sun set over the magnificent Sabie River. Dinner Bed & Breakfast 

(Optional extra–night game drive in open safari vehicle).  


Day 9:

Early breakfast - leave the park. Enjoy lunch en route. Travel to the ‘fruit basket’ region of South Africa and the popular Panoramic Route; view the jewels of the Northern Drakensberg, its magnificent waterfalls and scenic sites. Lunch will be enjoyed en route in one of the many small towns we pass through; fit in as many view sites as time allow. Reach our destination late afternoon. **** star lodge – free roaming animals.

Day 10:

Breakfast - go on a game drive (Safari vehicle) to view the Sable breeding project the lodge is running and view what this beautiful game lodge has to offer.   Leave for Johannesburg no later than 13h00 – drive through the towns of Lydenburg and Dullstroom and take in the awe inspiring beauty of the surrounds. Reach Johannesburg at approx. 19h00
